Let me talk about my experience, I am a senior designer working for a start-up firm located in Dubai. Being the only designer for the company was a tough job at first, it does get easier, trust me! During my college years we had the liberty to design, but it’s not the same in the real world unless your client is just amazing and lets you design according to your creative mind. Well, that’s how it goes! It’s always better to give design options and concepts.

Step one: Preliminary design! Yes, young designers, this step is surely the most fun one.
